If a campsite or partner uses the JUHUU system to manage bookings, guests or requests, that partner may be responsible for certain processing operations. This applies in particular to the concrete implementation of a booking, the stay, the guest communication and legal obligations of the respective campsite.

2. Use of juhuu.camp

Over juhuu.camp users can discover campsites, pitches, offers, content and information, make requests or use booking functions.

In particular, the following data can be processed:

• technical data such as IP address, browser, device, operating system, date and time of access
• pages accessed and usage data
• Contact details when a form is used
• Booking and travel dates when a request or booking is made
• Messages and voluntary information

The processing is done to provide the website, to process requests, to enable bookings, to ensure the security of the website and to improve our offers.

Legal bases are in particular art. 6 par. 1 lit. b GDPR, insofar as processing is necessary for processing an inquiry or booking, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR based on our legitimate interest in the secure and user-friendly operation of the website as well as art. 6 par. 1 lit. a DSGVO, insofar as consent has been granted.

3. Use of pms.juhuu.camp

Over pms.juhuu.camp provides JUHUU campsites, operators and partners with digital functions for managing bookings, guests, offers, availability, communication and other operational processes.

When partners process personal data of their guests, interested parties, employees or other contact persons via pms.juhuu.camp, JUHUU usually acts as a processor on behalf of the respective partner.

In particular, the following data can be processed:

• Name, address, email address and telephone number
• Booking, stay and travel data
• Information on pitch, accommodation or booked service
• Payment and billing information where necessary
• Messages, wishes and preferences
• Vehicle data, if specified
• Check-in and check-out data
• Reporting data or identification data as provided by law or by the partner
• technical usage data, login data and protocol data
• Data of employees or authorized users of the Partner

The processing takes place for the provision of the PMS, for the management of bookings and guest data, for communication, billing, support, technical security and for the fulfillment of contractual or legal obligations.

4. Booking widgets and guest data

JUHUU may provide booking widgets that are included on sites of campsites or partners.

If a request or booking is made via such a widget, the data entered will be processed in order to process the request or booking and transmit it to the respective campsite or partner.

These may include, in particular:

• Name and contact details
• Travel period
• Number of persons
• desired benefits
• Payment or billing information, where necessary
• News and special wishes
• information provided voluntarily

The respective campsite or partner is in many cases responsible for the specific booking and guest relationship. JUHUU then processes the data on behalf of or for the technical facilitation of the booking.

5. Special categories of personal data

Please submit special categories of personal data, such as health, restrictions, accessibility, nutrition or special needs, only if this is necessary for your request or booking.

If such information is provided voluntarily, we process it only for processing the request or booking and only to the extent necessary or legally permissible.

6. Contact details

If you contact JUHUU, we will process the information you provide to process your request.

This may include in particular name, e-mail address, telephone number, content of the message and other information voluntarily transmitted.

The processing is based on art, depending on the content of the request. 6 par. 1 lit. b GDPR or art. 6 par. 1 lit. f GDPR.

7. User accounts and authorized users

For partners, campsites or their employees, user accounts can be set up on pms.juhuu.camp.

In particular, we process login data, contact data, roles, authorizations, protocol data and technical usage data.

The processing takes place to provide and secure the user account, to manage access rights and to use the PMS functions.

8. Payment processing

If payments are processed via JUHUU or connected payment service providers, we process the payment and transaction data required for this purpose.

Depending on the payment method, data may be transmitted to payment service providers, banks or other entities involved.

The processing takes place to process the payment, to fulfill contractual obligations and to fulfill legal requirements.

9. Cookies and similar technologies

Our websites and platforms may use cookies or similar technologies.

Technically necessary cookies serve the operation, security and functionality of the website or platform.

Further cookies, analysis or marketing technologies are only used if there is consent or a legal basis.

10. Hosting, service providers and subcontractors

To provide our websites, platforms and booking functions, we use technical service providers.

Service providers process personal data only to the extent necessary and in accordance with legal requirements. Where necessary, we conclude agreements for order processing.

• the respective campsite or partner for requests and bookings

Any further transfer will only take place if there is consent or another legal basis.

12. Transmission of data to third countries

Any processing or transfer of personal data outside the European Union or the European Economic Area will only take place if there is a suitable legal basis for this.

This can in particular be an adequacy decision by the European Commission, the conclusion of EU standard contractual clauses or a legal exception.

13. Storage time

We store personal data only for as long as this is necessary for the respective purposes.

Data in connection with inquiries and bookings are stored for the duration of processing and in accordance with statutory retention periods.

In principle, technical protocol data is stored only as long as this is necessary for security, error analysis and operation.

14. Security

JUHUU shall take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction.

This may include, in particular, access restrictions, role-based permissions, encryption during transmission, logging, data backup and organizational security measures.

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights in particular:

• Right to object to certain processing operations
• Right to withdraw consent with effect for the future

If JUHUU processes data on behalf of a campsite or partner, it may be necessary for us to forward your request to the respective partner or refer you to them.

16. Right of appeal

You have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of personal data violates data protection law.

17. Minors

Our booking functions are basically aimed at persons of legal age. If you are a minor, you should only make a booking or request with the consent of your guardians.

18. Changes to this data protection declaration

We may adjust this privacy policy if our websites, platforms, booking functions, service providers or legal requirements change.
